TrueBlue Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1 Thank you for joining JetBlue's TrueBlue® Program ("TrueBlue"). TrueBlue is a customer loyalty program offered by JetBlue Airways Corporation ("JetBlue"). The following terms and conditions (hereinafter "Program Rules" or "Rules") apply to TrueBlue. By gaining access to and using this site, you agree to be bound by these Program Rules. JetBlue reserves the right to revise or change these Program Rules at any time and without notice to you by posting updated text on this site. You are responsible for periodically visiting this site to view any changes. If we update our Program Rules, any changes will apply to all TrueBlue Members enrolled before JetBlue posted updated text. In these Rules, the terms "you, your, and yours" refers to the TrueBlue Member, the terms "we and us" refers to JetBlue, and the term "Account" refers to your TrueBlue Membership Account.

2. Membership/Program Registration

2.1 TrueBlue is a paperless, electronic customer loyalty program. Program registration is available online at www.jetblue.com/trueblue.
2.2 Membership in TrueBlue is for individual travelers only. Members must enroll separately and may not pool or combine Points with other Members. Members are limited to one Account. Corporations, other entities, animals, or blocked-seat purchases are not eligible to enroll as Members or qualify for Points. Each Member may have only one (1) Account, and must provide his or her first name, last name, address, and telephone number. Each Member must also provide an individual e-mail address in order to register with and participate in TrueBlue. Requests for name changes may require supporting legal documentation.
2.3 While JetBlue issues monthly electronic statements for TrueBlue accounts, each Member shall be responsible for remaining knowledgeable about their Account information, accumulated Points, award status, award expiration and the Program Rules. This information can be found at www.jetblue.com/trueblue.

3. Accumulation/Earning TrueBlue Points

3.1 TrueBlue Points may be accumulated by either (1) actual travel on JetBlue (flights flown), or (2) through programs with our business partners. In addition to these Program Rules, our business partners may have special terms and conditions that provide additional rules for earning, transfer, accumulation, and redemption of TrueBlue Points.
3.2 To receive TrueBlue Points for JetBlue flights flown, reservations must be booked under the Member's name exactly as the Member's name appears on the Account. Any discrepancy may delay or void receipt of Points.
3.3 To receive TrueBlue Points for JetBlue flights flown, Members must provide their TrueBlue Membership number either:
  • At time of purchase through www.jetblue.com;
  • At time of purchase or before your flight through 1-800-JETBLUE;
  • At check-in; or
  • Retroactively, at www.jetblue.com/retrocredit, pursuant to the rules and regulations that pertain to retroactive credit.
  • Any claim for uncredited TrueBlue Points must be received by JetBlue within 90 days after the Points were earned.
3.4 In the event Membership numbers cannot be attached at time of purchase for travel sold by travel agents, customers are invited to use an alternate method as described above JetBlue reserves the right to make exceptions to this rule at its discretion.
3.5 Points will not be awarded on unused, cancelled, forfeited, refunded or fraudulent travel bookings, or on additional travel purchased on the same flight under the same name for any reason. Points can only be accumulated one time per flight per Member, regardless of the number of seats purchased. Only the person named on the TrueBlue Account and who actually flies can earn TrueBlue Points, even if the travel is purchased for other people.
3.6 Certain travel is not eligible for earning Points. This includes, without limitation, the following: all travel issued as TrueBlue Award Travel or other free ticket promotions including free or reduced rate travel, charter flights, travel agency/industry reduced rate travel, unpublished fares, non-revenue travel, and travel subject to special provisions. JetBlue reserves the right to determine which travel is eligible for Points.
3.7 JetBlue reserves the right to offer incentive bonuses to customers who book travel online at www.jetblue.com. Members who choose to book online may become eligible for TrueBlue Award Travel faster than those who book travel via other methods.
3.8 In addition to TrueBlue Award Travel, JetBlue may from time-to-time offer bonus Points or promotional incentives for TrueBlue Members' use, including, but not limited to, rental car discounts or hotel discounts. Such offers are not a part of the Program's award structure and may be temporary in nature. JetBlue reserves the right to modify or eliminate such offers at any time. The offers are void where prohibited by law.
3.9 You are responsible for ensuring that TrueBlue Points earned are properly credited. If you believe that TrueBlue Points have been earned but not properly credited, you may be required to submit documentation or other proof satisfactory to JetBlue, which will include copies of boarding passes and receipts. Any claim for uncredited TrueBlue Points must be received by JetBlue within 90 days after the Points were earned.
3.10 The current TrueBlue Point levels that are awarded for various JetBlue flights (e.g., One Flight from JFK to Long Beach = 6 TrueBlue Points) ("TrueBlue Point levels") are available at http://www.jetblue.com/trueblue/RequestPoints.aspx. In accumulating TrueBlue Points, Members may not rely upon continued TrueBlue Point levels. JetBlue, in its sole discretion and without notice to the TrueBlue Member, reserves the right to change, modify, withdraw, or cancel any TrueBlue Point level.

TrueBlue Members may not rely upon continued Award Travel levels.
4.4 Members will be notified of an award via e-mail and details can be found at the Member's personal site at www.jetblue.com/trueblue. Notwithstanding the notification of awards via email, the Member remains responsible for maintaining a current email, as JetBlue shall not be responsible for award notifications that are undeliverable.
4.5 TrueBlue Members are responsible for all passenger facility charges, customs and immigration fees, departure fees, September 11 Security Fees, taxes, and any other fees or surcharges applicable to Award Travel. Fees and surcharges must be paid by credit card or JetBlue-issued credit shell only at the time Award Travel is ticketed. Award Travel will not be ticketed without payment. Tax consequences for Award Travel, if any, are the responsibility of the TrueBlue Member.
